“It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.”
– Ernest Hemingway

Hello everyone, update Jan 2017

Latest NEWS is here and all Routes are here.

Registration will always be posted here. Events:

We had over 60 total riders for 2016, with at least 4 events for 2017 let’s see if we can increase those numbers!

The Jan 14, 2017 event is done and we broke a record for number of riders. 42 riders showed up! The Jan 28th in Edinburg is complete but we only had three riders due to nasty weather. Next event is Harlingen on March 25th, (200K and 300K) registration is online.

The March 25th ride is the last ACP event for 2017, although other RUSA events are planned.

I’m still looking for someone to help me out, this is a volunteer “position” and I need some help in planning and logistics. Please drop me an email at rgvrandos@gmail.com if you want to help. Thanks!
