Will there be food and sag support for the 300 k event
Hello Alex,
Thanks for the question. By definition Rando events do not have SAG or food support. Yeah I know sounds a little scary. But the routes have many places to stop for drinks, food.
I suggest you do a little reading on the site http://www.rusa.org for more info.
I’m currently on a bike tour so have limited access to the Internet, etc. Once I get back I’ll provide more info. If I can do a Rando anyone can who trains properly.
Regards,
Richard Cavin
Hos much is the entrance fee
Ivan, there is currently no fee for riding in the RGV Rando events. I hope to keep it that way, just show up prepared and ride!
Thanks for asking,
Richard Cavin
Richard,
Where can we find the routes for the Nov. 14th rides?
Mike, via the routes link on this website.
The approved 200K and unapproved 100K are there. Cue sheets and a link to ridewithgps for the routes. Ridewithgps allows you to print a map, and download the route in many formats such as GPX, Garmin, etc.
I hope to get final approval for the new 100K and 300K routes this week so I can post them as “final”. The RUSA route admins have been real slow about getting back to me on new routes as they are real busy.
Please read the latest news item on this website for current info.
Thanks,
Richard
