Just a reminder that the last official RGV Randos event for 2015 is scheduled for Saturday, November 14th, 2015.
I have been working on some new routes for a 100K, 200K and 300K.
The 200K has been approved by RUSA (WWW.RUSA.ORG) and I will be submitting the 100K and 300K routes for approval soon. I have other routes in the works including a 400K!
Route #1826 is the newly approved 200K.
Also note that the existing 200K and 300K routes that start and end in Port Isabel, TX have now been approved as permanents. That means that any RUSA member can ride one of those routes at anytime for credit as long as they pre-arrange the ride with the route owner…which is me. So let me know if you are interested, maybe we can get a 200K in on a good weekend 😉
Remember if you want to be a RUSA member you can sign up at anytime at
Don’t forget lights and reflective gear, when you ride!
See you out there on the bike paths, be safe and keep riding. To all the riders who have participated so far in 2015, thanks for being there and keeping the sport of Randonneuring alive in South Texas.
